Hello, my name is Jessie Chen.

I have always used art to transform my inner thoughts into something physical, whether it is through painting, sculptures, ceramics, embroidery, or animation I love to explore different types of art because they allow me to express myself in different ways. My style tends to lean toward organic, graceful forms like leaves that flow through the air, ocean creatures like jellyfish that glide through the water, or the moss and mushrooms that quietly spread across the tree bark. I love the curves they create and the way they flow. 

 

I also take a lot of inspiration from novels. I often use reading as a way of escaping from stress. (Daydreaming) Reading allows me to immerse myself in worlds filled with compelling characters and adventures. This evolved into my passion for animation, where I can bring the created worlds and characters from stories to life through movement and design.​
